FAST (Fencing Athletes Service Team) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in the winter of 2021 by epee fencers Damien and Natasha Lee in Las Vegas, Nevada. Towards the tail end of the Covid pandemic, Damien and Natasha realized that many underserved children were in a crisis, suffering from social isolation, inaccessibility to sports, and lack of mentorship to guide them through very challenging times. Determined to make a change, the two athletes approached their fencing club, and asked if they could utilize the weekends when the club was not being used to help kids. Initially started as a program to make fencing affordable and accessible for all children, it quickly turned to a life skills program that incorporated many volunteer fencers and many school districts.
